New York City Department of Sanitation delivered over one million tons of recovered paper to Potential Industries over a 14 year contract period which ended in 2014.  The daily tonnage ranged from 200 – 450 tons per day.  Throughout the contract period Potential’s performance was exemplary.

Potential Industries has supplied over 300,000 tons of recovered fiber to our 100% recycled paper mill and continues to supply over 5,000 tons per month.  We consider them to be one of our best suppliers based on their quality, shipments, and consistency.

Our municipal agency issued a Request For Proposal (RFP) in order to generate competition for a competitive process to select an experienced operator to help us design a Material Recovery Facility (MRF), select equipment, operate the facility, and market the recovered materials.  Potential Industries and their partner, which handles the transfer station and transportation aspects at the facility, was selected based on their bid responsiveness, price, and commitments to meet agency objectives.  They have met or exceeded our performance requirements and their commitments.
